Exhibition : La Chaussée Grand Studio
This exhibition created a Labyrinth Pathway
through the Energy Centres of the Body
told through colour ~
& coloured light caste upon each work
The Visitor walked through
a translucent fabric weaving itself
and stretched around
each coloured piece
& energy centre :
guiding the wanderer~
like a great web ….
beyond personal myth , story , & identity .
At the end of the pathway was a set of circus tent benches set in front of
a hung bedsheet w my films

Behind was a door to a small room that I created a House of Mirrors inside with tangled twine rope around the broken , old , and imperfect mirrors …
A piano was also set between these two spaces for people to play upon if inspired …
At the end of the exhibition , I held a Finissage : a Feu aux Folies - an event with an outdoor bonfire burning on a full moon- I asked people to bring instruments and something they wanted to burn - and some spirits too …
3 drummers drummed , an accordion player , a guitarist - singing , dancing occurred / old Christmas trees , chairs , tables , letters , memories , sadness - all was burned . I burned an old painting .
La Chaussée Footsbarn is often empty and feels heavy with past memories ( ghosts ) - it was a joy to gather so many ( new and old and still alive & all together ) at this magical space and place - so potent with entangled energies .
