VALISE was born from a desire to find home within myself & the world through the reflection of the other & the connection sparked awake with a “stranger”
offered through the interaction with the stranger , within the étrange container/land/place - these encounters intended to find the root universal mythology that prevailed inspite of a constantly changing cultural framework .
Valise is also about trust in the unknown , stranger , and strange .
the genesis of Valise began upon finding it discarded on the roadside , set out for the trash , in Paris , in 2012 .

From then on , it became my home/portable-studio and has taken on many iterations through various projects and branches .. it is a metaphorical caravan & continues to act as my portable-studio/home today [ 2024 ]
