Here's a story :

Gabrielle Meyerowitz March 12, 2024

When all seems lost, humiliation and betrayal have been experienced, stories seem looped, and mind finally - from a place of exhaustion and total loss and pain - succumbs to Soul - salvation is returned. It trickles in slowly, like a gold glue. Suddenly, the small daily mundanities become portals that open up life back into love and grace. The golden light of dusk upon a mountain, a tree's branch to sit on between work hours become like an arm's embrace, one's favourite toothpaste and a hot short shower push heaven through the steaming falling waters ... an elder offers solace through her undying adoration for you. The morning birds singing despite the cold and frenetic temperatures. Humour found in old tv comedies and making faces at one's self in a mirror .

Remembering our childlike wonder at eternity that is always hidden within the hour and in every waking moment of life .

As adults - we forget our oneness and that we all share the same breath, recycled over and over again

- a breath never dies .

As we grow consciously aware of our individuality - we find separateness, judgment, fear - as a new playmate and friend, and forget this innate connectivity and union with all around us .

And then in loss and darkness, it is found again : the small moments of being becoming portals to pleasure - like tassels for salvation - in a world that sometimes feels like a looping dream on repeat .

Individuality and conscious awareness then no longer keeping us separate, ghostly, and alone - but a voice, a renewed perspective and thread (breath)

back to weaving together our fragmentation - into wholeness and unity : the tapestry of life - now light .
